This is a matlab based tool that is easy to install and start. Sadly, I have not been able to get past that with either DPARSF or Rest. Repeatedly the tool insisted that I did not have enough nifti files in my set (even when I used Rest to extract all nifti pairs from a single 4d file). I have verified the number of files and the directory structure. I have tried DPARSFA. I am using spm5 under matlab 7.12 on Mac OSX Snow Leopard on a Mac Pro. SPM5 appears to behave. Given that apparently the software has a lot of expectations about directory structure and naming, perhaps it would be helpful to provide a tutorial dataset? Right now I can't tell if the problem is in my data or in some other kind of incompatibility.

It looks like a really interesting tool, I'd love to get it working.

Hi! Thanks a lot for your inetersts in our work. Sorry for the delaied reply since the main forum for dicussing REST and DPARSF is: www.restfmri.net. If you files are .nii or .nii.gz files, you need to download the latest REST and DPARSF (released on 01/01/2012) to deal with. Best!
