(well, at least in so far as neuroscience is concerned :) very cool and as pointed out, NeuroDebian lets you try out all the cool toys of neuroscience research with a very straightforward ease of use (esp. with the virtual machine). very nice...keep up the good work!

Ratings/Long-term Prospects Comments:	NeuroDebian is certainly the easiest way to install any of the tools included in it on Debian/Ubuntu systems. The maintainers are actively involved on the support mailing lists for these tools as well, which helps new users, should they encounter any issues.

Ratings/Long-term Prospects Comments:	If you use debian or ubuntu, NeuroDebian is indispensable. Many of these tools are a huge hassle to install and maintain by hand.
Other Comments/Similar Tools:	I know Redhat is no longer fashionable, but it would be great if someone would do this for rpm-based distributions that get updated via yum (e.g., Fedora, CentOS).

By providing an almost complete list of tools used in neuroimaging research and constantly updating them, this made it easy for me to try new tools. Best part for me is that I can run it in a VM without having to worry about replacing my native OS.
