Ratings/Long-term Prospects Comments:
I have been a PSOM user for more than one year. To be honest, this fantastic tool helps dramatically to my MATLAB life. PSOM is a great tool for pipeline-processing for both single desktop and a cluster. By using psom, you don't have to mannually run the sequential jobs youself (painful! you have to wait until the last job done to run the next job, well, I used to work like this for a long long long time, pathetic!). PSOM will monitor your on-going pipeline and make the log (easy to debug) elegantly. This is really a relief for anyone. For guys using Matlab for muliple parallel jobs (like multiple subject processing), PSOM will do a great work submitting and monitoring your jobs to a cluster. It is worth mentioning that the pipeline structure of PSOM is very intuitive and easy to learn even you never try pipeline-processing before.Actually, PSOM could be used not only for neuroimaging processing but also for any MATLAB-based pipeline-processing. Anyway, I would recommand this tool to anyone who is middle-skilled Matlab user and hope to enjoy a better Matlab life. You will see how userful this tool is. By the way, don't hesistate to ask for help to the developer of this fancy tool, who is the nicest and most supportive developer I have ever met. Good job! Pierre. Gaolang Gong
