fMRI-CPCA
Ratings/Long-term Prospects Comments:
Thanks to the two reviewers who contributed these comments in 2009. I'm pleased to report that as of today, April 3 2011, all of the raised issues have been addressed. Specifically, the manuals are complete and very user friendly, and the memory management is improved to the point where fMRI-CPCA will use available memory on Windows, Linux and Mac very efficiently. Group comparisons and significance tests can be readily made using repeated-measures ANOVA on the predictor weights in a standard statistics package such as SPSS. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Todd Woodward toddswoodward@gmail.com

Other Comments/Similar Tools:
This software has the potential to provide very nice results and meets an obvious need for the fMRI community, but the following needs to be improved: 1. An updated manual is needed. 2. Even using Linux, out of memory errors occur if the Z matrix is large (e.g. more than 35 subjects sliced 3 x 3 x 3)

Other Comments/Similar Tools:
I think this is a potentially very useful approach to multivariate analysis of fMRI data that may have good advantages in terms of power and stability. It would be helpful to have a clear way to compare groups on the ascertained components and also to compare the stability of components across sessions within a participant. Though this can be done with the current software, it could be made easier and more flexible.
